Our insulated hotpots are designed to keep food warm for 4 to 6 hours and cold for even longer. For best results, we recommend 'pre-warming' the hotpot by rinsing it with hot water for a minute before adding your food.
Wash the interior with warm soapy water, then fill it with a mixture of warm water and two tablespoons of baking soda. Let it sit for 2–3 hours (or overnight), rinse thoroughly, and the smell will be gone.
Yes, brands like Winsor and Pinnacle use high-quality, food-grade stainless steel interiors. This ensures that the food remains hygienic, odor-free, and easy to clean, even after storing spicy or oily dishes.
Most of our hotpots feature a twist-lock lid with a silicone seal to prevent spills. However, while they are spill-resistant, we recommend keeping them upright during transport to ensure no liquid escapes, especially for very thin soups.
We recommend hand-washing only. Placing thermal hotpots in the dishwasher can allow water to enter the insulation layer through the seams, which can reduce the heat retention over time. A soft sponge and mild detergent are all you need.
Do not try to pry it open with a knife, as this damages the seal. Instead, place a warm, damp cloth over the lid for a few minutes, or briefly place the hotpot in a shallow tray of warm water. This expands the air inside and breaks the vacuum.
